“I am so proud to be an American…Do you love your freedom!?”

Sarah Palin, once again, has displayed her unmatched ability to conjure patriotic pride from a speech bashing current politics and promising vague and sweeping ideas for reform. Her keynote speech at the National Tea Party Convention in Tennessee provided Palin the chance to stake her claim as leader of the Tea Party movement; however, many members have claimed that this party is what it is because of its lack of defined leadership, and surprisingly Palin herself noted in her speech that “You don’t need a proclaimed leader…to progress this movement.” This does beg the question as to what her motives are, but I am still confident that this Alaskan housewife is still seeking this movements support for her rumored 2012 presidential bid.

One last thing that I would like to point out, is Palin's praising of newly elected Massachusetts' Senator Scott Brown for being a simple American with a truck who didn't like the way Washington was being run. Well, as it turns out, Sarah Palin is an idiot. Scott Brown has held an elected position in Massachusetts since 1992. He seems more of a career politician than most politicians!!!
